Franz Wittmann, former ÖGV president, multiple-time national rally champion, and owner of GC Adamstal, has been managing Golfclub Schladming Dachstein since 2016.
In addition to GC Adamstal, Franz Wittmann’s portfolio now includes another Leading Golf Course, offering something very special for the full members of both clubs:
“Members of Adamstal and Schladming enjoy reciprocal green fee-free golf. This means you get two Leading Golf Courses for the price of one!”
Franz Wittmann is considered Austria’s most successful rally driver. He has won a total of 12 national championship titles, 13 victories at the Jänner Rally held in the Mühlviertel region, and in 1987, he won the World Championship race in New Zealand — achievements that speak for themselves.
But Franz is not only a passionate rally driver; since 1987, he has also been an avid golfer. From 2006 to 2013, he served as president of the Austrian Golf Association. In this role, he was especially committed to youth development and the overall marketing of golf.
On the occasion of his 60th birthday in 2010, the film “The Fire Within Me” – Franz Wittmann: A Life on the Edge (Helmut Deimel) was released.
